Hi, I’m the Bantu Traveler
Photographer & Blogger
Hey there !
I’m the Bantu Traveler, but you can call me Kevin. Travel blogger, fishing enthusiast, and part-time adventurer. Kevin isn’t my real name, but it’s easy to pronounce and has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? I apologize for the pseudonym; I’m just a bit shy about sharing my real identity. Plus, I don’t want my friends getting jealous of the trips I take without them—let’s keep that between us! They’d be mad even though they were probably busy working anyway. And, I have this PERFECTLY REASONABLE fear that someone might steal my identity (and personality—because I’ll be showing a lot of that here) and start a fake life somewhere. I know, crazy, right?
But enough about my paranoia. Thank you, dear reader, for visiting my blog. I hope you find it as fun to read as I find it to write. My aim is to inspire you to travel, see the world, and visit some of the amazing places I blog about. Life is beautiful and meant to be enjoyed, after all. As the saying goes,
The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.

Now, a little background about me: blogging isn’t my full-time job—it’s a passion project. I work in tech, which is great because it allows me to travel thanks to remote work (maybe that’s why I’m extra cautious about my identity). My love for traveling started when I was a kid. I grew up in Victoria Falls, a small tourist town on the edge of Zimbabwe. Growing up around so many tourists sparked my admiration for their adventures and a desire to see the world. Seeing Victoria Falls, the Seventh Wonder of the World, countless times made me realize there’s so much more out there. There are six more wonders, after all! So, I decided to explore as much as possible, and here I am, sharing my experiences, culinary adventures, reviews, thoughts, and much more through this blog.
I hope you’ll join me on this journey. For adventure, for life, for my kids, and for my future grandkids. And hey, if I can make you chuckle along the way, even better!
Warm regards,
